Not really coming from the Vikings. 😉 The twisted shape remembered somehow of horns and so it came to its name. A fun to make loaf with a soft darker crumb and added flax seeds – of course all organic for an even better tasting experience.

– This bread mix is made with only organic wheat flour, plain sea salt and Non-GMO yeast. It is sugar-free.

The first box comes with the tool-set you’ve chosen, the following boxes #2 and #3 contain only the baking kit.
Each monthly box contains a bread baking kit packed in a reusable cotton produce bag. [The November box comes with a Xmas-themed drawstring bag!] The baking kit could be a typical bread itself or one of the many types of rolls you can find in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. All kits come with a pictured instructions card to guide everyone to perfect results.

I’ve only received one package so far (sunflower buns). The packaging is quite nicely done, and the result was very tasty, but I was not as wowed with the instructions. The card was small for the amount of info on it plus there were minor issues such as instructions for a steam pan which had not been mentioned. I improvised and it did not impact the results at all, but the recipe cards might benefit from added review. I look forward to our next package!

While we look out for small business partnerships, this is not always possible. That specific ‘Balsamic Fig Jam’ was something special, the reason why we chose it. It’s delicious paired with many types of cheese. Hope your sister enjoys it.

We loved the bread but the price is quite expensive – $43 each for three loaves of bread. I am unsure why the cost is so high given you ship USPS and nothing requires refrigeration. It was a novelty but we won’t be ordering again.
